The bowl is turned from European walnut. The shape is simple and round, and after turning, two notches were cut into the rim, giving the bowl its distinctive look.
The accompanying spoon is made from the same wood. The handle curves slightly at the end, allowing the spoon to rest naturally on the rim of the bowl.
It is suitable for salt or spices.
As each bowl and spoon is unique, there will be variations from the pictures.

Treatment:
The bowl and spoon are treated with Danish oil to nourish and protect the wood surface. They can be re-treated with oil as needed. See more about maintenance of wood products.
