This vase is turned from rowan wood from our parents' garden. It is turned from a piece with branches, which has influenced its shape and created movement and tension in the wood.
The surface is burned, which gives a deep black tone and highlights the dense grain patterns. On the side there is a natural cavity, which became larger during burning.
The vase stands as an object in itself, but can also hold flowers. A glass insert can be used if you wish to add water. Suitable for both fresh and dried flowers.
