This vase is turned from pear wood, sourced from a tree that once stood by a small meadow in western Svendborg. The coordinates of the tree's original location are stamped on the bottom of the vase, as part of the story of the material's origin.
The vase is turned with a natural edge, giving the opening a lively form. The warm golden tone of the pear wood and its fine growth rings highlight the wood's calm character.
The vase stands as a sculptural object in its own right, but can also be used for flowers. A glass insert can be added if water is desired. Suitable for both fresh and dried flowers.
