This vase is turned from pear wood, sourced from a tree that stood by a small meadow in western Svendborg. The coordinates of the tree's original location are stamped on the bottom of the vase, as part of the story of the material's origin.
The vase is turned with a natural edge, giving the opening a lively form. The warm golden tone and fine annual rings of the pear wood highlight the wood's calm character.
The vase stands as a sculptural object in itself but can also be used for flowers. A glass insert can be added if you wish to include water. Suitable for both fresh and dried flowers.
