The bowl is turned from maple with a round shape, elevated on a narrow foot.
The inside is sanded completely smooth, contrasting with the more raw surface on the outside. The difference between the two surfaces gives the bowl a special tactile quality.
Each bowl is unique, and therefore there will be variations in shape and texture.
The bowl is treated with a food-safe Danish oil, which protects the surface and helps repel water and moisture. They must be washed by hand with warm water and mild dish soap. They are not dishwasher safe. For more information, see our guide on maintenance of wooden products.
