Serving plate in burnt ash, ø37

The platter is turned in ash with a low rim and a flat bottom. Externally, the bottom has a curve that gives a floating sensation and makes the bowl easy to grasp.

The surface is burnt, which gives the ash a deep, dark tone. The wood's distinctive grain stands out clearly and creates a tactile surface.

The platter is turned from wet wood. During drying, the wood has moved and taken on a more organic shape. Some plates have cracked and been repaired with stitches.

The platter is suitable for serving food or as a base for decorations and arrangements.

Each platter is unique, and variations in structure and shape are a natural part of the material.

Treatment:
