Serving plate in burnt ash, ø23

The platter is turned in ash with a shallow rim and a flat bottom. Externally, the bottom has a curve that gives a floating sensation and makes the bowl easy to grip.

The surface is burnt, which gives the ash a deep, dark tone. The wood's distinctive grain patterns are clearly visible and create a tactile surface.

The platter is turned from wet wood. During drying, the wood has moved and taken on a more organic shape. Some plates have cracked and been repaired with stitching.

The platter is suitable for serving food or as a base for decorations and arrangements.

Each platter is unique, and variations in structure and form are a natural part of the material.

Treatment:
