The platter is turned from ash with a low rim and a flat base. Externally, the base has a rounding, which gives it a floating feel and makes the plate easy to grasp.

The surface is burnt, which gives the ash a deep, dark tone. The prominent grain patterns of the wood stand out clearly, creating a tactile surface.

The platter is turned from wet wood. During drying, the wood has moved and taken on a more organic shape. Some platters have cracked and been repaired with stitching.

The platter is suitable for serving food or as a base for decorations and arrangements.

Each platter is unique, and variations in structure and shape are a natural part of the material.

Treatment:
