This vase is turned from elm wood. It features a lively grain pattern with distinct growth rings and beautiful color variations in the golden wood.
The vase has been repaired with a butterfly inlay – an old carpentry technique that honors the wood's natural cracks rather than concealing them. The butterfly holds together what threatened to split, becoming a visible reminder of both fragility and strength.
The vase stands as an object in itself but can also hold flowers. A glass insert can be used if you wish to add water. Suitable for both fresh and dried flowers.
