The salad servers are handmade from beech wood, with the surface subsequently burnt. They are designed with elegant, rounded shapes that provide a comfortable grip and efficient use when serving salads. The set consists of a salad fork with organically shaped tines and a salad spoon.
The surface is treated with yakisugi – a traditional Japanese burning technique that creates a deep, black finish.
As each set is unique, there will be variations from the pictures.
The salad servers are treated with a food-safe Danish oil, which protects the surface and helps to repel water and moisture. They should be hand washed with warm water and mild dish soap. They are not dishwasher safe. For more information, please see our guide on maintenance of wooden products.
