This tray was turned from wet ash wood, and it warped during drying, creating its organic shape. The low foot elevates the bowl, giving it a light, floating appearance.
The light and darker shades of the ash wood move through the tray in an irregular grain pattern. The tray can be used for serving or stand alone as a sculptural object, highlighting the movement and structure of the wood.

Treatment:
