The form is low and open with a circular rim broken in two places. Here, the wood opens into raw breaks where bark emerges, creating a clear contrast to the smooth surface.
The bowl was turned from wet wood and shifted during drying, giving the form a displacement and a lively expression.
The bowls are turned with respect for the wood's structure and movement, standing as a sculptural object in themselves.

Treatment:
