The grain is clearly visible in dark rings throughout the form. A dark line cuts across the circular lines.
The shape is soft and rounded at the base, narrowing into a slender neck. A prominent opening runs vertically through the side, breaking the otherwise calm form. Bark is embedded within the crack.
The vase is turned with respect for the wood's structure and movement, standing as a sculptural object in itself.
