A sculptural vase turned from ash root – the point where the trunk transitions into the roots, and the wood's structure is unpredictable and full of life.
The surface alternates between calm grain patterns and areas where dark traces appear as fine, organic designs in the wood.
The form is soft, gently curving inward towards the opening. The rim is broken in several places, where the wood opens up, creating a distinct contrast to the smooth surface.
One of the openings along the rim is stitched with waxed cotton cord.
The vase is turned with respect for the wood's structure and movement, standing as a sculptural object in itself.

Treatment:
