The platter is turned from beech. It is turned with a high rim and a flat bottom, perfect for arranging food for serving. The bottom has a rounded edge, creating a floating effect and making the platter easy to grip. Suitable for both everyday use and special occasions.
The wood lay directly on the ground before being turned and has undergone the spaltation process – a natural decomposition and staining process of the wood fibers. The result is beautiful and unique patterns, colors, and streaks in the wood.

Care:
